British Landsailing York Regatta
18th/19th May 2024
Mini 5.60 and Standart
AIRFIELD RACING DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!
With the largest pan area of any privately owned airfield in the UK, 2 miles of runway and around 2.5 miles of service roads, if the wind is blowing then we will get you racing. Please note that the York Regatta May 18th/19th 2024 is NOT a full British Landsailing Championship event as Class 3 and Class 5 yachts cannot attend. Sadly, we do not have access to the runway on this occasion. As this is a Pan only event there is insufficient space to race Class 3 and 5 yachts safely. The Mini 5.60 class is open to members of other organisations who can demonstrate they have the required insurance and race experience. York Land Yacht Club and British Landsailing also extend a warm welcome to foreign pilots of participating yacht classes who are members of FISLY affiliated clubs.

Accommodation
York is a popular tourist destination with plenty of accommodation. However, booking sites always shows places filling up fast so the advice is book early to avoid disappointment. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel, pilots booking accommodation are advised to look for properties with late cancellation options.
Please check this page regularly for more information about accommodation. We are urgently trying to find a good site close by that will take tents. If pilots find alternative sites for camping please let us know so we can update this page.
